I built my first solar wind generation to the first house I owned. Was more by necessity than energy efficiency. When my wife and I started dating, we do not have much money and bought a house in the country which is outside the network. The house had a generator that provides power when we moved in
Thus, in order to have power, the generator has been running. Well, as you guessed – it's not going to cut. We tried for about 2 weeks and it was evident that even with fuel prices lower than they are today, it would be costly and difficult in the generator to run constantly.
I did not know a single thing about solar or wind, but I knew my way around tools and I'm good with my hands. I knew I could understand that with a little reading and trial and error.
I built our first solar power generation system Wind for under $ 200.00. I had no choice. We do not have much money. Fortunately, the previous owners seemed to have been thinking of decision-making power of solar electricity generating wind turbines as a chance for we were 6-6 volt deep cycle batteries and still sitting in the generator home loans we have with the house. So one of the biggest expenses were covered.
Before going further, I would like to explain in terms of basic components of a system for generating solar wind.
The basic components (now that Some bits and pieces that go with it), but are the main components as follows:
1. Solar Panels
2. A generator Wind
3. A power control unit (power control transfers from the solar panel and wind to the battery bank and battery for the investor.
4. An inverter (converts 115v AC to 12DC to power the house) Now you can also use a system of 24 volts, I recommend it because it is more efficient.
5. A bank of deep cycle batteries. Now the bank of the battery depends on how much their output power generator and solar wind and the amount you need to store. Clearly, more storage, more time will have the power as long as your solar and wind can be maintained, and to maintain costs.
It is not outside the realm of possibility to have a power system that not only well maintained but still and can produce electricity hose back to the network and are paid by your company utilities. It was not an option for us because there was no cooperation in our region could Electrical connect. We were power box about 8 miles more and wanted $ 48,000.00 for back home. Well, it was not even close to our budget.
Therefore, I have learned to produce my own power, without any prior knowledge. I read some books, unfortunately, at this time (1999) that there was no reading material and quality of materials such as reading.

The solar panels that gives me (I'm a builder) to an owner who took out the old house. She gave me. I have cleaned and it worked fine.
An investor bought a truck stop in Oklahoma on a journey that would pick up a vehicle at home moms. Designed to the original feed tray of a truck, but I had high power converter. It was a Cobra 8000 watt. There would be a microwave, refrigerator, all the lights and television, video, DVD player very well. We had to run the generator to washing. No biggy, keeps the laundry and washing 3 times per week. It ultimately helped to save water as well. Not that we needed, we had a well.

I got a warning light in the house to let me know when the batteries fail, and I could start the generator inside the house.
